Troubleshooting The Problem With Contacts In Address Book

1. In Outlook 2003, choose the Tools menu and select Email Accounts. Now select View Or Change Existing Directories Or Address Book. Now select the Next button.
2. In Outlook 2007, choose the Tools menu and select Account Settings, and then select the tab by the name Address Books.
3. For Outlook 2010 and 2013, click the File menu and choose Account Settings, and then select the tab by the name Address Books.

• If the address book service is already present, select the contacts folder as the address book.
• Choose the New/Add button, if the address book service is not present.
• Choose Additional Address Books and choose the Next button.
• Select Outlook address book and click the Next button.
• You will be asked to exit from Outlook and restart it.
• Select the OK button and exit from Outlook and reboot Outlook.
• The service will be successfully added.

Verify If The Contacts Folder Is Selected As The Address Book
If your profile has the address book service, then any of the contacts will be visible in the address book. For this, the contacts folder has to be Right clicked and select Properties. Choose the tab by the name Address Book and choose the option Show This Folder As An E-Mail Address Book.

Now with the help of the address book, you will be able to choose the contacts.
