- The Password Reset Wizard will now begin, so click Next. Select the Password Key Disk and click on Next again.
- Type in your new password, and retype it in the spaces for verifying the new password. Click on Next and Finish. When you try to login into your system again you have to type in this new password to login.

- Start up your computer and keep pressing F8 repeatedly until the system opens a window titled Advanced Boot Option.
- In here, select the Safe Mode with Networking option and press Enter. Now your system will enter the safe mode. Click on the Default Administrator option to login in to Windows.
- Click on the Start button situated in the desktop in the bottom left corner. This opens the Start menu, where you must select the Control Panel and then click the small arrow next to the address bar.
- Click on All Control Panel Items and also User Accounts.
- Click on the Manage Another Account option and chose your account profile. Select the Remove the Password option, and then Remove Password to confirm your actions. Click on the X button on the topmost right corner of the window to exit.
- Press the ALT and F4 keys on the keyboard simultaneously, and get a drop-down menu. Here select Restart and then click OK. Now login to your user account using the new password.
